A coolie is a Hindi term for a labourer. Now, having lived in Trinidad for some time and in India and Kenya. Trinidadians of East Indian Descent tend to be far more religious than those in India. I have seen Indians in India eat any animal known to man, they do not fast, they live like animals in Dehli and Mumbai, not to mention in the countryside, and as far as education goes, Trinidadian Indians have more people with higher education per capita than India. If you come from India, go to Delhi and spend a week, see how clean those office girls are...

and i reckon trini indians are far more beautiful then east indians from india in character and in looks. I see nothing wrong in those pics its people having fun whose to say a person who has more clothes has more morals. Also trinis are more honest and straightforward

I am of Indian descent. My paresnts are from Guyana. I was very much angered with the remarks made of East Indian Girls from Trinidad. Many Trinidadian girls do celebrate Diwali, Holy, and go to temple/mandir and do come from very good society, have morals and do socialise with people. They live in a multi-cultual society and they do think of India and pleased of it. YOU NEED TO TRAVEL MORE, READ AND STOP BEING A OPPORTUNIST. FROM London, England.

There is not now nor has there ever been any such nation as "East India", therefore, there can be no "East Indians". People from India are "Indians" and the official name of their country is "Bharat". People from India who settle in another country like Canada are referred to as "Indo-Canadians". Likewise, those resident in Trinidad would be Indo-Trinidadians, etc.

West Indians have evolved (proudly so) very differently from their root countries. They are an ecletic blend of multiculturism They are free of many of the social restrictions of Mother India, they can proudly be who they want to be and not be afraid to express that. They are West Indians. I dare say that the other races have also evolved in a similiar manner. The 'Islands' are a soup of cultures and races the BEST of all worlds.

I'm not going to judge, but I think black people need to stop claiming about racism so much now especially since marriage rates between Indians and people of African descent are really high like in Jamaica and Caribbean. Indians are not racist against blacks and if they are let's not blame the Indians completely. American blacks are the worst people and influence on others. Crime rates amongst blacks in America are highest in the world. I don't think blacks in Trinidad are like that it's an island country of course the women will dress this way and that's why I have no right to judge. It's probably beautiful as it's in the Caribbean.

I'm an anglo man who personally thinks that all asian indian women are beautiful including the old women. It does'nt matter where in the world they live or even if they are mixed blood they've got the look. There is just something about that smokey dusky semi dark skin those dark eyes and black hair that gets to me. They are Ultra feminine females who look just as good in traditional or western dress. They make gold look good.

Those four women in the gold hotpants, a gallon of vodka and a litre of baby oil would make for a great evening!
